There are as many definitions of Paradise as there are humans to define it – and this album reflects this multiplicity of human experience. Paradise is an infinite landscape, a virtual reality, dreamed of in the consciousness and unconsciousness of humanity.

Neither a spoken word album nor a collection of conventional songs, it stylistically moves from ambient to rock, classical to dance, world music to industrial with effortless ease. Much as the definition of paradise changes fluidly between person to person, so too does the music of this album.

Assembled by Orlando Allen (Gong, Flamedog DJz) and Maxwell Volume (Homeostasis, Third Sky) in collaboration with Gilli, the album features a large and varied collection of wonderful musicians from around the world including Daevid Allen, Marissa Allen, Micro Cosmic, Peppa B Gritty, Efendi Jaenudin Peppen, Mark Robson, Kavi Samut, Adrian Shaw, Laura Targett & Glen Westwood.

Poetess, priestess of space-whisper and founding member of the seminal band Gong, as well as her own band Mother Gong. Gilli pioneered a revolutionary singing style known popularly as Space Whisper, a textural ambient cosmic voice/instrument.
